Rejoice, PS5 owners. As the game, Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 will be officially available for PS5 from 28th January. According to the source, Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 PS5 will let you enjoy the power of a mobile suit via your DualSense controller.
On Playstation blog, Bandai Namco Entertainment said, “Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 PS5 variant will be officially available to download through the game shop on Thursday, January 28. The game will have the full support of cross-play and cross-progression with the PS4 version. It will remain free to play. Hence, the users don’t have to purchase it again.” He further added, “The game will hit the market with several new updates, such as a new map (known as Military Base) and some new English voice-over back at Base Camp.

Moreover, the frame rate and loading speed are also improved when you boot up MSGBO2 on PS5 for the first time. Each weapon has its own haptic feedback patterns in the game based on its firing sound effects. Bandai Namco is also emphasising to combine the sound effects by playing them directly through the DualSense speaker and your TV by default.
The most interesting thing about this update is that each weapon will have its own unique profile for the Adaptive Triggers. Such as if you fire a bazooka, you’ll notice an increase in resistance to simulate the catch just before you’re ready to launch. While using the beam rifle, you’ll be getting a feel of trigger’s vibration. Definitely, these are the coolest updates as you’ll be getting the sensation of firing these trademark weapons that too without having any problem.
