Pitch in the Bay Oval is supposed to be favorable for bowling side and will offer more bounce than in Hamilton. As a result, both teams will hold the extra pacers in their team. However, there might be odd shower in the evening even after a good clear rain prediction. The Bay Oval has hosted just 4 ODIs of which the last game was between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. The Kiwis beat Lankans by 36 runs. But, Kiwis were defeated here by Pakistan in T20I last month.

New Zealand’s skipper Williamson is suffering with hamstring strain, therefore Kiwis will come out with Mark Chapman as new batsman onto the field and hope Southee will operate the captain-ship. England could bring his fast bowler Craig Overton for his ODI debut and also because he hope to give his side better bowling attack.
