Kingdom Hearts Series for Pc Will Launch as an Epic Store exclusive

For the first time in forever, the Kingdom Hearts is coming to PC. The publishers announced via Twitter, in which they indicated that it would be released for everyone as an Epic Store exclusive on March 30th. Epic Store ran a trailer for the Kingdom Hearts series on their Youtube channel to support the news.

The comprehensive list of Kingdom Hearts Series games for PC includes:

  • Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind DLC ($60)
  • The Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue ($60)
  • The Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory ($60)
  • Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 Remix ($50)

If these names sound confusing, then you aren’t alone. To clear all the doubts, you must know that Kingdom Hearts 3 is the latest name in the series, released in early 2019, just after Kingdom Hearts 2, which they decided to roll out back in 2005. Between the gap, they delivered Kingdom Hearts spin-offs and re-releases. In the lineup, the melody of Memory is the most recent: It’s a rhythm game that was also revealed for consoles in November 2020.

The HD I.5 + II.5 Remix is actually a bunch of games. Some of them are HD ports of games, designed for the handheld consoles. At last, they offer HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue, it has three episodes designated to guide the release of Kingdom Hearts 3.

The Three pieces of HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue are as follows.

  • Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
  • The Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, a movie
  • Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary passage, a one-off episode

After the announcement, series was found on their store’s series page with the minimum and recommended system requirements.

  • Processor – Intel Core i5 7500 (3.4GHz) 4core/4Thread, AMD Ryzen 3 3100 (3.1GHz) 4core/8Thread
  • Memory – 8GB or more
  • Storage – 75GB or more
  • Direct X – Version 11
  • Graphics – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (VRAM 8GB), AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 (VRAM 8GB)

At first, the game was made available for PlayStation 2 in 2002; it has covered various platforms. But until none of the Kingdom Hearts games was introduced to windows.

To refresh your memory, the game’s story revolves around Sora, who goes to many worlds inspired by Disney to defeat a dark force that terrorizes the universe. Throughout his journey, several characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Elsa and Woody, help him save the worlds.

As mentioned above, the game will be available for all PC users on March 30, 2021. Furthermore, they haven’t made any announcement regarding the expiry date of exclusivity. Neither they gave any indication about its availability on Steam.
