After a long waiting period, finally, we got iPhone SE 2020. Despite the many leaks and predications, Apple launched the second-gen smartphone into a market vastly changed by Corona Pandemic. As per the experts, iPhone SE 2020 is considered the most affordable smartphone in its current lineup.
After months of anticipation, the new iPhone was originally expected to make debut as iPhone SE 2 but later reported as the iPhone 9. Despite being the budget-friendly iPhone, the iPhone 9 is powered by the Apple A13 Bionic chip. Currently which is exclusively available for iPhone 11 series smartphones.
The iPhone 9 holds on a 4.7-inch display, that’s available on iPhone 8 series and other previously launched regular variants.
Design-wise iPhone 9 resembles Apple iPhone 8. Which was introduced by Apple CEO Tim Cook as the successor of the iPhone 7. The device measures 138.4×67.3×7.3mm and weighs 148 grams.

iPhone 9 comes up with a 4.7-inch retina HD LCD screen with 750×1334 pixels resolution. The screen feature Haptic touch support, which we earlier saw in other newly launched iPhone models.

In the camera section, the new iPhone got only a single 12 megapixels camera at the back with f/1.8 aperture and a True Tone LED flash with Slow Sync. And on the front, we have a 7 megapixels shooter with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.
The available main connectivity features are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Lightning port. iPhone 9 aka iPhone SE 2020 offers a touch ID button which we earlier saw in iPhone 7, 7 plus, 8 and 8 plus. They might have offered Face unlock features but that requires some special array of sensors.

The starting price of the iPhone SE 2020 in India starts at 42,500 for 64 GB onboard storage variants. If you want more storage, then you also get options of 128 GB and 256 GB storage variants. Unfortunately, the prices for the Indian variants of iPhone SE 2020 have not been revealed, nor has India availability.
While in the USA the new iPhone starts at at $399 (roughly Rs. 30,600) for the 64GB model, going up to $499 (roughly Rs. 38,200) for 128GB model, and $549 (roughly Rs. 45,000) for the 256GB model.
Moreover, the iPhone SE 2020 comes in Black, White, and (Product) RED color options. iPhone 9 Pre-orders begin from 5 pm PDT on Friday, April 17, and it will go on sale from Friday, April 24 in the US.
