HTC Desire 12 Specifications, Features confirmed via Leaked Retail Box

Several leaked reports confirm that Taiwanese tech giant is certainly working on new flagship codenamed HTC Desire 12. We acquired an image of the Desire 12’s retail box which has been leaked and hence the specifications. Earlier Mr. Blass, the leakster, confirmed that HTC is about to launch another handset in Desire series – HTC Desire 12. Other subtle details such as release date and pricing are missing, but shall be display up soon.

We’re pretty sure that HTC will release its flagship Desire 12 at upcoming MWC 2018. As earlier, it was rumored that nickname Desire 12 might be next new phone by HTC or not. It’ll be an entry-level smartphone with 3GB RAM while Camera sensor agrees 1080p Full-HD video recording.

As seeing from leaked retail box, the specs surrounds full-screen unique body with 5.5-inch and HD+ resolution of 1440 by 720 pixels. The device is powered by Quad-core MediaTek 64-bit processor. It will feature 18:9 aspect ratio display which is currently serving all latest smartphones. The processor is coupled with 3 GB RAM and 32GB ROM while there’s a 32 GB on-board storage, expandable upto Max 2TB storage capacity via MicroSD card support.

Turning over camera specs, the new smartphone HTC Desire 12 frames a 12 MP sensor on the rear with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) Technology. The PDAF tech increases the focusing speed using planar image phase detection helps in taking HD photos of fast-moving objects. The rear camera module can shoot 1080p video recording and bears a Dual LED Flash along with it. Desire 12 has a selfie snapper of 5 MP with BSI (Backside illumination) sensor which is a digital image sensor improves low-light performance. The 2730 mAh battery fuels the whole device.

On connectivity front, HTC Desire 12 will have 4G LTE support, Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and  Bluetooth v4.0 with 2 Nano-SIM slots. Seems like the device will runs new Android Oreo OS out of the box. It’s expected price in India could be somewhat around Rs 10,000. More specs will surface soon, stay tuned.
