Plot
The film opens with a heinous scene where paranormal activity is taking place, and you can see the Warren duo trying to save the soul of a young boy. This whole scenario takes them into an unsettling set of events beyond anything they have ever witnessed before. The plot of the film conjuring 3 revolves around the iconic murder trial during which, for the first time in US history, a murderer claimed that he was under the possession of a demonic force.
The movie’s story is slightly based on the real-life incidence where the Warrens helps to save an 11-year-old boy from an evil spirit. The story includes the infamous trial of the 19-year-old Arne Cheyenne Johnson, who was involved in the barbarous stabbing of his landlord in 1981. However, johnson claimed that he was possessed by evil forces which were previously inside his 11-year-old brother-in-law. The warrens helped enlist the boy’s demonic possession, which johnson claimed possessed him later on after leaving the boy’s body.
James Wan and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick initially develop the current film’s storyline. Wan has already directed the first two films of the series. But he won’t be directing this current film due to a conflict of dates.
Conjuring 3: What to Expect?
According to the conjuring 3 director, Micheal Chaves, this is going to the darkest and scariest of all the conjurings. This current film is going to leave its predecessors behind in terms of darkness. So the audience can expect to have a hair-raising time watching this sequel. As it showcases real-life events involving real cases and people.
Moreover, the creation of this chapter’s adversary is unlike any other, as “the occultist” is the scariest of all.
