Animal Crossing: New Horizons Pave the Peacock

The trend of console gaming is increasing day by day; we can take Animal Crossing: New Horizon and Sanrio amiibo Cards as a quintessential example to prove it. In a concise duration, Animal Crossing has had wide success with the audience and emerged as one of the most sought-after console games in today’s times. The newest trailer launch of the game has shown Pave’s return, a peacock. To celebrate the return of Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Pave the Peacock, developers have decided to host a Festivale event.

In the game, this festival was introduced today, and it is known as “Festivale”. During the event, players will need to prepare their islands for a festival or carnival of sorts. Animal Crossing: New Horizons Pave the Peacock will start from 15th February, hence you’ll have enough time prepare your island for the colourful event.

The best thing about this update is that it has been designed and presented in such a way to resemble Mardi Gras and Carnival festivals. If you participate in the festival, you will get a chance to watch Pave dance in return for you collecting his feathers.

In Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Pave the Peacock is a known character. However, they have changed Pave’s appearance after keeping the festival theme in mind for this latest instalment. His new features are also a sign that players will be able to use new and unique items and furniture after this latest update. Read on to find out more about Pave the Peacock and what he might bring to the table.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Pave the Peacock in City Folk

If you have had the fortune of playing Animal Crossing: City Folk, you surely came across Pave the Peacock. In the City Folk instalment, Pave will be seen hosting a carnival in the village where the participants will play various games. In this series, Pave has instructed the players to gather candies as much as they can. These candies can be collected after winning a series of minigames against other villagers.

The list of minigames includes charades, coin toss, rock-paper-scissors, and a few others. Whoever wins a certain number of games will collect the required number of candies to give to Pave. Players can also trade their collected candies against rewards.

Pave in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Pave’s role in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is slightly different from the previous instalment in City Folk. Players also will see him in a new avatar. However, the underlying storyline remained the same. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, instead of collecting candies, players had to collect feathers with nets. The feathers fell from the sky and were all differently coloured.

Pave would make requests for specific-coloured feathers from the players. Then, they need to collect those colours from the sky with their net and give them to Pave. The players also bear the fact in their mind that they can only be eligible for rewards when they submit the exact number of feathers requested by Pave. After completing the task, Pave would reward the players with furniture and other things from his series and perform a special dance.

Pave in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

From the trailer released recently by Nintendo, it is somewhat clear that Pave the Peacock’s role in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be close to his role in Animal Crossings: New Leaf. In this new and updated instalment, Pave is seen again as a host of the festival. Players will have to collect different coloured feathers as Pave’s request to win exciting rewards and get advantages. Again, Pave will perform a special dance for those participants who manage to collect the feathers according to his requirements.

However, the trailer did not suggest many minigames like that in Animal Crossing: City Folks. There will also be no candy collection directed by Pave. But you can expect to see various exclusive items related to the Festivale appear on your island. Special clothing for the Festivale will also be available in the Able Sisters Shop. You will also be able to choose from a new set of reactions available at Nook’s Cranny with Bells.

The trailer has signified Pave’s return, but much of anything else remains a mystery. No DIY recipe for this version has yet been revealed. But people are predicting that Pave the Peacock might be able to provide a few DIY recipes after his introduction to the game. To know more, you will have to wait till the official start of the Festivale on 15th February.
