Nipun Marya, director of Vivo India, launched the handset at a media event today. Starting with the design, the phone features curved edges with glossy back. Coming to its construction, the device has 90% screen-to-body ratio with top bezels having thickness of 1.85 mm, side constitutes of 1.75 mm while 5.7 mm bottom bezels compared to V7+, the successor. The smartphone occupies the diagonally 6.3 inch FHD+ display with 19: 9 aspect ratio and the Full HD resolution of 1080*2160 pixels.
The chipset is Qualcomm’s 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 626 mobile platform based on ARM Cortex A53.
