The smartphone manufacturer company Sony is staying true to its words. As they have promised to roll out the update of Android 10 for a few of its Xperia devices in early 2020 onwards. At present, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Android 10 update is officially rolling along with XZ3, XZ2 Premium, and XZ2 Compact.
Northern and Central Europe, the Baltics, Russia, and unbranded US phones are the first to get the taste of Android 10 Operating system. We hope Sony phones in other regions will soon get the notification to update.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Android 10 Update Features
Android 10 update brings a whole new catalog of all new features to the Sony smartphones. The feature catalog includes an improved share menu, a system-wide dark mode, and more granular location permissions for best and accurate results.
The update itself bearing the 52.1.A.0.532 build number comes in at 730 MB. It brings novelties, but some users are complaining that the launcher on their device did not update. So, they cant access the new gesture navigation. This clearly means that enhanced gesture navigation is still missing from the XZ series smartphones. But hopefully, a subsequent update will address this.
