Meizu launched the Meizu X powered by the Helio P20 chipset in November 2016. However, contrary to expectations, the chinese manufacturer did not present it’s successor in 2017. Today, Meizu Vice President Li Nan spoke for the first time about Meizu X2 and revealed vital information about launch time, specifications and prices.
The Meizu X arrived in 2016 and quickly won customers thanks to it’s above-average specifications. The same is what is expected of the Meizu X2 that may launch by the end of this year. The first aspect to deserve special attention is the Chipset Snapdragon 845 and the second the price that should be around the 2,999 yuan that’s approximately ₹30K .
It should be noted that Meizu has recently launched the Meizu M6S with the so-called infinite (bezel less) screen and the next lineup of this manufacturer, namely the Meizu E3, Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Lite and Meizu Plus should also use it. So, it will not be surprising that Meizu X2 may also come with this kind of screen and 18:9 aspect ratio. Early rumors also claim that there may be a secondary screen on the back.
Meizu X2 Highlights :
- Meizu X2 to be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC
- It will arrive with Bezel-less screen with 18:9 aspect ratio
- Expected price for Meizu X2 is around INR 30,000.
Meanwhile, Meizu vice president also spoke of Meizu E3 and said that this gadget will be launched with the aim of providing top specs at an affordable price. This device to be announced on March 6 should integrate a MediaTek Helio P70 processor that should be as powerful as the Snapdragon 660.
