Meizu takes the opportunity to launch its new entry-level smartphone Meizu V8. The first to be revealed was the Meizu 16X. Comes with a fingerprint reader on the screen and a 710 Snapdragon processor. Then the company turns towards Meizu V8 and Meizu V8 Pro that fit perfectly into the mid-range smartphone family.
Some Meizu smartphones get TENAA certification precious month and known to be Meizu M8 and M8 Lite. However, they had the same specs as of Meizu V8 and V8 Pro.
Meizu V8 Specifications:
This smartphone is in the group of the cheapest. Firstly it has 2.5D glass that covers the front. The back is composed of polycarbonate. The screen is 5.7 inches. It has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. Add to this an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The Meizu V8 has the dimensions of 148 x 73 x 8.4 mm. The Meizu V8 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor that operates at 1.5GHz. There is also a PowerVR GE8100 graphics card. Also noteworthy are 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. But storage can be expanded up to 128 GB through a slot for microSD cards.
At the photography level, we find a camera with a 13 MP sensor and a focal aperture of 2.2 and a dual LED flash. Also worthy of note is a fingerprint sensor that supports Alipay and WeChat payments. Already on the front, we find a 5 MP camera with a focal aperture of 1.9. This camera comes with various functions like beauty mode backed by artificial intelligence.
Other features include a 3200 mAh battery, a MicroUSB port, Bluetooth 4.2, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The price of Meizu V8 is 799 Yuan/ Rs 8400 and available at Suning, JD.com in Black from September 20. You can also buy it through Meizu offline and online stores. Meizu V8 Pro is priced for 1098 Yuan/ Rs 11500 with Gold and Black colors. It has the same 5.7″ LCD display but comes with 12nm octa-core Helio P22 SoC and 4/64GB variant. Also, it has dual rear cameras of 12+5 MP and Bluetooth 5.0 with all other specs same as Meizu V8 Pro.
