HTC corporation is due to announce it’s new flagship U12, U12 Plus soon. The device has been already a subject of rumors and gossips. Now a recent leak has detailed the Specifications of HTC U12. Leaked specs suggest that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor and boast 8GB of RAM. It has 128 GB of internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card upto 2TB.
HTC U12 will feature a 5.5 inch Quad HD+ display with 18:9 display aspect ratio. It will have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for screen protection. Camera features include dual rear shooters of 12-megapixel + 16-megapixels with f/1.5 aperture and Ultraspeed Autofocus. There will be dual front sensors combination of 8-megapixels with HDR boost technology. Backed by a 3420mAh battery this device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo. It’s going to support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 and wireless charging. Other connectivity features includes NFC, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.
The device will have IP68 rating for dust and water protection, HTC’s USonic earphones with noise cancellation and Dolby Audio-enabled Boom Sound. There will be a fingerprint sensor placed at the back. This Dual Nano-SIM device will have company’s Edge Sense hardware and 3d Audio recording.
Interestingly, this device won’t have a iPhoneX like display notch as seen in many smartphone these days. The back side of the smartphone has been made of glass. HTC U12 is expected to launch next month with no concrete pricing details yet. However, expect it to be priced around 60,000 INR in India. Stay tuned for more details on HTC U12.
