Yesterday, the Taiwanese Corporation HTC announced its secondary-level smartphones in a media event in UK. However, the handsets will be launched all over the world time-by-time. Mobile fans who are anxious awaited for these HTC launched new handsets HTC Desire 12 and HTC Desire 12+ can book the phones – registration window open. Although, the users can avail the smartphones available for sale from first week of April.
HTC Desire 12 Specifications:
This Desire 12 handset comes with a diagonally 5.5-inch HD IPS display that provides a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels. The 18: 9 aspect ratio give the feel of large frame. On design aspect , the device back is of full glass and curve-rounded edges gives the smooth embrace. The right side of the device has a power/lock key below the volume rocker. While, SIM Tray is on the left side. The thickness of mobile extents up-to 8.2 mm and weighs 137 gram. A Li-ion 2730 mah battery ministers the power of the phone. HTC Desire 12 will be availing a single nano-SIM model and the other two nano-SIM model. An audio output is available in the phone in form of 3.5 mm jack.
The HTC Desire 12 is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6739 processor which is of quad-core. While the processor clocking speed is 1.5 GHz fast, it is coupled with 2GB / 3GB of volatile memory (RAM). The graphic unit IMG GE8100 GPU is linked with the CPU. The HTC handset comes with 16GB / 32GB of storage capacity which is expandable through microSD card upto max 2 TB. At the photography level, the Desire 12 stands out with a 13-megapixel (f / 2.2 aperture) on the back with Phase Detection Autofocus. While, the front of the handset avails a 5-megapixel selfie sensor with f / 2.4 aperture. Android based version will be the Operating System.
HTC Desire 12+ Specifications:
The Desire 12+ is a larger in screen with a 6-inch HD LCD display and maintains the resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels. It shares the same design as a sibling of Desire 12 but includes a fingerprint sensor on the back, along with an extra camera sensor. A non-removable 2965 mah battery powers the phone and charge though a micro USB port present in the device.
Headquartered in Xindian District of Taiwan, the HTC has equipped the Desire 12+ with Snapdragon 450 SoC with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage capacity. The processor is a 64-bit octa-core with integrated Adreno 506 GPU and CPU speed clocking at 1.8 GHz. On the back is a dual camera configuration with 13-MP + 2-MP camera sensors with LED Flash and includes the famous Bokeh mode, face detection and wide mode. A 8-MP selfie camera with large f / 2.0 aperture and LED Flash is located at the top front.
Likewise Desire 12, the Desire 12+ also support TD-LTE and FDD-LTE bands of 4G LTE in connectivity terms. Face unlock safety feature exist in the phone. HTC states this device comes with the operating system Android 8.0 Oreo and HTC Sense. Addition to this, the hybrid dual nano-SIM tray, 2 TB storage expansion, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and 3.5mm headphone output is present. The device is 8.4 mm(0.2mm of difference with Desire 12) thick and 157.5 g in weight.
Price and Color:
The expected price for HTC Desire 12 is 186 euros (~ $228 / 15000 INR)and for Desire 12+ is 234 euros (~ $287 / 19000 INR). The expected color choices are Black, Gold and Purple for both the HTC prototype.
