In the video he explain that, Mate 30 pro’s display is divided in three parts. There is a flat display and two smaller areas on the side. All the touches on those two side areas will be ignored. So, most of the time touch screen will work like a classical screen panel.
To enable the palm rejection area, users will need to install a game that require shoulder button which are available on the curved area of the screen. Then just do double-tap on the side of the screen to activate the volume and when using the camera.
To enable the volume control, users need to double tab on the side of Mate 30 pro.
He further added, “earlier these steps were just ignored until this function enabled. And I believe that people will get used to this very quickly and will also find it very convenient to use.
Moreover, Mate 30 Pro case manufacturer’s now should have to leave the both sides and some back portion of the smartphone uncovered to allow its users to access volume control button and shoulder buttons to play games like PUBG.
