All the Light We Cannot See is the subsequent limited series that Netflix and Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps Entertainment is ready to introduce to the audiences. Netflix is always the flag bearer for shows that mainstream media never considers airing. Following its tradition, Netflix is bringing all the new series based on the prestigious Pulitzer Prize-winning book, All the Light We Cannot See, released in 2014. It was such a massive success that the book was the New York Times bestseller for over 200 weeks. Shawn Levy, the man behind Stranger Things, and Steven Knight, the screenplay writer for Peaky Blinders, are up for giving a visual identity to the show.
Since two of the best industry people have teamed up, the expectations from this limited series are far beyond anything. The fans hope to get a perfect storyline that will give them goosebumps. So, here is all you must know about the upcoming release from Levy and Knight, and we know it’s worth the wait!
What Is The Expected Plot Of All the Light We Cannot See?
All the Light We Cannot See is a tale of two teens, one living in Paris during the Nazis’ invasion of Paris and the other residing in the mining town of Germany. Marie Laure is a 12 years old blind girl staying in Paris, a little distance from her father’s workplace. When the Nazis invaded her area, she had no choice but to evacuate from where she grew up. The family relocated to Saint-Malo, into Marie’s uncle’s house. During their relocation, the family chose to carry valuable but certain hazardous items from the museum.
The plotline simultaneously shows the life of Werner Pfenning. He is an orphan living all by herself with his younger sister amidst the dangerous mining town of Germany. Interestingly, they learn about people and the beautiful places around the world that they might never be able to visit through radio. This inspired Werner, who used his skills to create best-in-class communication tools. It is his journey about achieving things that even a privileged individual can never think about. His hard work and persistence make the story all catchier.
However, Werner’s interaction with Marie is the most beautiful part of the series. Even though the situation and circumstances are different, the kindness both hold is pure.
Now, the basic premise of the story will be this. But the showrunners may tweak it a little to add more elements to the show. Only the final release can uncover more details about the plotline.
