Chinese mobile manufacturer Meizu has launched its new Qualcomm chipset smartphone in the homeland, China. The side mounted fingerprint scanner device of Meizu is Meizu E3. In February month, we revealed the specs about Meizu flagship phone. Moreover, it will company’s big star performer for the year 2018. The handset E3 also comes in 2 storage versions that is 64 GB and 128 GB. Although, the company has launched J20 Edition model of E3 of which only 2000 units would be available for sale starting April 9.
Specifications of Meizu E3:
The screen resolution of Meizu E3 model 1080*2160 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The screen will have 5.99 inches Full HD + display with pixel density of approx 403 ppi. The device thickness is 7.6 in millimeters and weight of 160 g. Extensive 3360 mAh non-removable battery will power the phone’s chipset with Fast Charging 20W (mCharge 3.0). The handset design considers of Aluminium alloy made body and 2.5 D glass protection on the front. Flyme OS 7 with Android Nougat will support the phone from operating side which is unblessed.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor with clocking speed of 1.8 GHz integrates within the phone. The graphic unit of Adreno 509 is there for gaming and graphics. 6 GB of RAM is linked with the CPU core to speed up the process. Internal storage of 64 GB and 128 GB variants of phone are available with expansion facility to 256 GB via microSD. Two nano-SIM slot are present.
In photography aspect, Meizu E3 has a 8-MP front selfie sensor with f/2.0 aperture. While on the back 12-MP (f/1.9, 1.4 µm) and 20-MP (f/2.6, 1.0 µm) dual camera configuration is vertically aligned. While LED Flash is Camera features are HDR mode and face detection. Communication aspects of the device include dual-band Wi-fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5, 3.5mm audio output, GLONASS, USB 2.0 Type-C. A fingerprint sensor is carved at the right side with power key while volume keys lie on left side.
Color, Price and Availability and Meizu E3 J-20 Edition:
The color options available with E3 are Champagne Gold, Blue, and Black. The price for Chinese market are 6GB + 64GB model will costs 1799 Yuan (~285 USD) and 6GB + 128GB will costs 1999 Yuan (~315 USD). The registrations for the smartphone E3 has begun already while sale will go from March 31 on wards. The customers can pre-order the phone from Meizu online store and JD.com. The expected Indian prices are 18500 INR for 64 GB version while 20500 INR for 128 GB version.
Talking about the limited edition Meizu E3 J-20, the smartphone tags its name from J-20 fighter plane and its frame is made of zinc alloy designing and recalling the jet. The specifications related to display and hardware is same as of Meizu E3 standard model. Also, the J-20 version will be having 6GB RAM + 64 GB storage costing 1999 Yuan (~315 USD). While, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage will costs 2499 Yuan (~ 395 USD).
