There is rapid development in the world of smartphones, with every tech company introducing the latest gadgets to live with. These devices are released to entertain every sphere of individuals and come in a vast variety ranging from high end to mid-range phones.
With 2019 coming to an end, every tech company is now gracing the world with the release of new smartphones that are to keep us engrossed within the coming year. Just like that, Motorola is all up and about and has announced the release of another mid-range smartphone.
The company’s E series, which has been quite popular in demand, is now having another addition to the family with the release of Motorola E6 Play smartphone.
What to expect of Motorola E6 Play?
This new smartphone by Motorola, preferably termed as an “entry-level” phone, is released in various countries starting from Brazil. The phones come bearing varying features that surely have us enthralled to see in what we call an entry-level smartphone.
To start with the display, Motorola has designed the device to come with some typically favourable screen options. The smartphone features a fairly impressive 5.5 inch. It comes paired with an HD+ Max Vision 18:9 display. Additionally, the side bezels are relatively thin, which a somewhat broader header and chin, so the device is designed to provide a robust screen time.
The volume buttons along with the memory card slot and sim tray are at the side of the phone, allowing easy access to these controls. The rear side is featuring a camera setup and thankfully a fingerprint sensor. It will come in Blue and Black colour variants.
There seems to be a fair bit of disappointment in terms of processor and RAM. It will come bearing the MediaTek MT6739 processor. Like its companion, it will have a 2GB RAM along with a 32GB storage. Now considering its 2020 in a couple of months, Motorola could have graced us with a slightly larger and powerful RAM.
The good thing here, however, is the triple card tray through which you can enjoy 2 SIM cards facility on the phone. This tray can also house a Mico SD card with a 256 GB limit so that somewhat makes up for meagre storage!
The whole device has a 3000 mAh battery as a powerhouse, which is meagre! Apart from that, there is also no fast charging support, so this is another thing you will have to get frustrated over! Motorola has, however, provided a MicroUSB port for charging and data transfer that will come accompanying the E6 Play smartphone.
Camera options in Motorola E6 Play
For an entry-level smartphone, the camera options are relatively decent. It comes housing a single rear camera, which is of 13 megapixels. Now with most cellphones featuring a double, triple, and even a quad-camera setup, this is again disappointing!
The least Motorola could have done the phone feature a dual-camera setup to keep up with the advancements! Additionally, it also comes with a front selfie camera, which features a 5-megapixel lens.
The lens power Motorola has offered is surely quite relative to consider. Even for an entry-level smartphone, these sensors are quite mainstream to opt for!
Other sensors that are available on the phone are the fingerprint sensor, which is rear-mounted along with a face recognition option.
Price of the phone?
There is no concrete price of the phone that is yet available even after its reveal in Brazil. It will, however, be available in the UK for 99 pounds in January 2020.
