Nokia 7 Plus Sold out in Flash Sale in China; Price in India Revealed

After launching Nokia 7 last year, HMD Global announced its new flagship series at this year’s Mobile World Congress 2018. However, a week later of it the company has opted to sale its Nokia 7 Plus in China. The main subject to acknowledge is that the smartphone fly out of stock in 5 minutes time. Indian users can expect the handset to launch in India in the mid 2018.

At MWC 2018, The Finnish based startup announced its 3 smartphones namely Nokia 1, Nokia 7 Plus and high-end Nokia 8 Sirocco. The new Nokia 7 Plus fill all the loop holes between Nokia 6 (January 2018 launched)and Nokia 8. This is because Nokia 7 Plus is smartphone carries some similar features of Nokia 6 Nokia 8. Nokia 7 Plus is not a top-of-the-line phone, it’s the most modern handset from HMD.

Nokia 7 Plus was up for sale in China only where it reportedly went out of stock in just few minutes. The device is available for 2300 Yuan in Chinese market which is around 23,600 INR. This price works out for 4 GB variant of Nokia 7 Plus with 64 GB inbuilt storage. However, the primary version of the device is worth 2500 Yuan and arrives for 6 GB RAM and same 64 GB internal storage. The Indian cost for second variant smartphone may cost around 25,650 INR.

Specifications for Nokia 7 Plus:

The upper-medium range smartphone sports a infinite screen of 6-inches with aspect ratio of 18: 9. The screen occupies a FullHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 by 2160 pixels. The resolution pixel density is 403 ppi. The device front is build of glass and have a aluminium unibody with copper edges. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the phone from the front. The device’s chipset is Snapdragon 660 with CPU having 8-cores along added frequency of 4×2.2 GHz and 4×1.8 GHz. The system’s GPU is Adreno 512.

There is a dual camera sensors powered by ZEISS present at the back of 12 MP each. The first sensor constitute 12 MP with aperture of f/1.75, 1.4 µm. The second sensor include another 12 MP with aperture f/2.6, 1.0 µm. Video recording can be done at 2160p @ 30fps. Dual LED dual tone flash is also present alongside the camera setup. The front camera is 16 MP with Carl Zeiss optics and aperture of f/2.0, 1.0 µm. 1080p images can be clicked with selfie sensor. Fingerprint scanner with rear-mounted can be avail with Nokia 7 Plus.

On GeekBench, the smartphone registered 1636 points in the single-core test while the score for the multi-core test stood at 5902. The Nokia 7+ house a Non-removable Li-Ion 3800 mAh battery which energizes the device and gives 2 day long battery backup on a single charge. The available color options are Black/Copper and White/Copper.

After its first sale in the China yesterday it is clear that Nokia 7 Plus will wipe out the Galaxy A8. It will also be a big rival to Huawei’s new P20 series. Meanwhile, there is no official announcement of the Nokia 7 Plus for Indian market by the company.
