England vs India 3rd Test: Where to Watch, Preview and Playing XI

England vs India 3rd Test

After winning the T-20 series against mighty English, Indians never thought about losing that bad way. The previous second match of the Test series was way worse than the first Test. Talking about the Test series, England is leading by 2-0.

Firstly, the Men in Blue lost the ODI series now they are on the verge of losing the Test match series also. Today is the third game of the series and will be played in Trent Bridge. The last game here was between England and South Africa where Africans won the game by 340 runs. Lowest total at this ground is 60 which is scored by the Australian team against the hosts England. James Anderson is the highest wicket-taker here who has 60 wickets to his name followed by Stuart Broad – 37 wickets.

As England is the host, they are the favourite side and also because of the marvellous play they showed in both the Test matches. Their bowling, as well as batting, has a good effect. Also, England openers have to play a good partnership in this game which they couldn’t succeed in doing in the first two matches. Whereas Indians strong aspect is only bowling. For the third game, Shami and Ishant Sharma are the trusted players from the Indian side. Indian openers have to take responsibility for first 30 overs and after that middle-order have to provide some strength.

After losing Ben Stokes for the second game, England’s another bowling all-rounder Chris Woakes step-up in the team and hand over a precious victory to his captain Joe Root. He took 4 wickets, scored a century and also became the Player of the Match. What best for England is that they have two bowling all-rounders who are giving what the captain wants.
